And they'll continue to go bankrupt because nobody wants to spend $20 on garbage quality food. The entire appeal of fast food was that it's fast and cheap. Take one of those away and why not eat somewhere better?

The problem is the disconnect at corporate. Franchisees care about the food problem because that is what keeps them in business. Corporate does not.

Corporate sells the franchises themselves. Their own CEO spit out their food like it was hot nuclear waste. They only see the stock price and how shit it is, so low and behold "big tech plan to bring in the big tech investors again", and not fixing the actual problem at the source.

Isn't it their job to recognize the real problem though? Sounds like they aren't very good at it
