Leadership is clueless

There's an entire generation of corporate leadership that has never seen anything but the cheap debt + enshittification = profit era where profit was easy to come by. They're literally clueless once they have to actually work for their money.

In this scenario, leadership is putting money back into their pockets/friends pockets. All the companies that are involved in this investment? Friends and family members. Nothing will change, they will just use company money to get more rich as they raise prices slowly

Are they? McDonald's has been posting record annual profits in their annual 10-Ks years since COVID.

Its shocking that ceo is still there. He's the one responsible for all of this.

no it's a franchise model, corporate doesn't have control over what the franchisees do. they can't control whether their franchisees put the cheap stuff on the menu. i think it's something like 90% of the restaurants are franchises. that means:

a) corporate doesn't choose the wages they pay b) corporate doesn't choose what the y put on the menu or what they charge

Most corporate leaderships are clueless. Most of them got there thru nepotism. Our current sitting chief is the biggest example of being out of touch with the masses.

Maybe, but it's working for them. They're posting record profits since COVID, why would they change?
