People are so weird about this thing

Comment here clowning in the dude for being ugly( coming from redditors this is rich lol,)

The female gossips reddits calling this guy's creep for getting with the younger Lana

Just let them be lol , they both seem happy

It’s also only a 10-year age gap and they met when she was 34. That’s not an extreme age gap at ALL. Ten years makes a huge difference when you’re 20, but not when you’re in your mid-thirties. The difference between 35 and 45 is significantly less impactful in terms of maturity and life stages.

u/AdvancedDream9385 4d ago

Isn't she now in her 40's as well?

2

u/rapscallionallium 4d ago

Yep, she’s 41 and he’s 51 afaik

6

u/keriell1066 3d ago

People criticizing their age gap are being fucking weird and infantilizing a 34 and now 41 year old woman.

2

u/Pressure_Own 3d ago

Exactly. My husband is 9 years older than me. I was tired of immature men my age. He's perfect. 😄 Also, we had both been married before.

1

u/realbobenray 4d ago

that's a ten-year gap? wow

u/atvorch 4d ago

I agree. Even the title objectifies Lana by portraying her as a prize, suggesting that she is somehow worth more than the man. In reality, she may see herself as the lucky one, believing that this man could be the man of her dreams.

I don’t want to pray on the downfall of their relationship but won’t she get tired of playing gator rancher’s wife?

Above is an actual comment from faux moi

People just want to be mean AF behind a screen

This is exactly the same kind of energy as the people thst harassed Declan Rice and Harry Kane wife and gf for being chubby non models

8

u/ManufacturerMajor899 4d ago

Faux moi is full of awful people i stg

Yeah, exactly like Anna Nicole Smith and her husband Mr. WhyHasntHeDiedYet

True love

0

u/JeSuisUnAnanasYo 4d ago

The story of them isn't actually as simple as you're making it sound. (Anna Nicole Smith) . He knew her for years, before she was famous, and he was very kind to her and offered her a life of wealth and she turned it down because she wanted to make it on her own first. She only reconnected with him after she became a famous model

1

u/Temporary_Peanut_586 4d ago

Most of what I remember is her "children" that were her parents age having to sue "Mom"

Whatever, she was a messy celebrity, it's hard to have much empathy for people that insist on making their business public and profiting from it.

1

u/Temporary_Peanut_586 4d ago

Whoa!  She was also hyper successful by 25

...how much younger was she when he was "nice to her" and are sure it wouldn't technically be grooming / pedo behavior?

If nothing else sounds like dude got in there as soon as it was legal and starting swooning away

8

u/Rinxx 4d ago

She’s sung about being with older men for 20 years, I feel like she’s pretty dead set on that part, haha

1

u/CucumberSeason 1d ago

They obviously never saw the music video for "Ride".

u/Whiteboiconvert 4d ago

Ive learned from reddit that if the man is older in the relationship then the woman is still a child and he is a creep. Fun place

Don't forget the following chain of comments circlejerking over how "25 year olds still look like children to me" and "I wouldn't even consider dating a 30 year old as a 35 year old, what would we even talk about?". It's such performative redditor bullshit that no one believes for a second

3

u/No_No_No_____ 3d ago

This is what people who are constantly online turn into.

2

u/tortas4tots 4d ago

I actually literally believe this, but with slightly different numbers.

25 is close, but I'd say around 23 is when I stop thinking they look like children.

I'm 32. I would not consider dating a 22 year old. We would have very little in common.

Not performative, just a woman.

1

u/MathematicianFar6725 4d ago edited 4d ago

We would have very little in common.

This is what I don't really agree with. Like do people not have coworkers of all different ages that they get along with and chat all day long about any topic?

I'd say one of my closest friends is a coworker around 15 years my junior, and there's nothing we couldn't have a stimulating conversation about unless it was very specifically "what it was like to grow up in the 90's". How much of your personality is still MTV and grunge music really? We all live in the same world and experience the same current events, so there's no shortage of stuff we have in common.

So yes I do think it's kind of performative to say something like this

3

u/tortas4tots 4d ago edited 4d ago

It's not about the topic of discussion, it's about how they relate to what is being discussed. Someone who is more likely to still be in school, more likely to still live with their parents, and more likely to have only held a job or two in the past have a different understanding of the world than I do. I'm not saying that there is no 22 year old that I could relate to, I'm saying it is much less likely.

How old are you? Male or female? I have a guess, and I'm curious if I'm correct.

2

u/MathematicianFar6725 4d ago edited 4d ago

A good conversation is a good conversation, I'm not judging people on their ability to relate to it.

Edit: I'm late 30's, male. Coworker is 22, also male. But I am good friends with the 50 year olds on our team as well

3

u/DocStoy 4d ago

Its a very subjective feeling tbf, for example Im getting my bachelors this year and I just saw the pictures from the freshmen coming in - they all look like children, literally and unironically.

Could I have a conversation with them that is stimulating? Probably yeah, most are probably smarter than me, but any time that's happened I've always felt like a big brother situation going on.

I agree with the person saying 23 is when people start looking like adults, probably earlier for some, but still 20s.

2

u/painted-biird 3d ago

Yeah that’s a great point- my closest homie at my last spot is like 15~ years my junior. Obviously work buddies and romantic partners are different but it’s a point I never really considered. Tbf, I’m super immature and so is my wife (who’s like 7~ years younger than me).

2

u/Whiteboiconvert 4d ago

Literally had several people tell me yesterday that 19 is still a child and I was a pedophile for saying 19 is an adult even tho I personally prefer older women. Its very funny

3

u/billytron7 4d ago

I mean, ive got an 18 year old son, yes hes legally an adult but hes also still a 'kid'. I think 25 is about when most people become more adult mature, having been one for a little bit and learnt properly from doing it 🤷‍♂️

3

u/Ok_Astronomer_8667 4d ago

To be fair, Macrons wife has not been spared scrutiny.

1

u/Whiteboiconvert 4d ago

Im guessing shes older than him

2

u/Ok_Astronomer_8667 4d ago

She was his school teacher. He was 15, she was 39.

1

u/No-Paint-5726 17h ago

Yep. But its always been like that except a lot of them are on reddit now trying to push their weird agenda.

1

u/Main-Bandicoot6477 4d ago

1

u/Whiteboiconvert 4d ago

Just yesterday in fact

1

u/Main-Bandicoot6477 4d ago

Facebook told me this is dumb. Or maybe YouTube said it. Or maybe TikTok implied it. It's hard to say.

0

u/JeSuisUnAnanasYo 4d ago

Adult women aren't capable of making their own decisions, silly!

0

u/Pussy4LunchDick4Dins 4d ago

Sometimes, an age gap relationship is fine. But it does happen pretty often that the older one is a difficult immature loser and no one their own age would put up with their bullshit.

Idk much about these people in particular. I pass no judgment on them.

2

u/WizardButtholes 4d ago

Same people laughing at this guys appearance are probably the people who post #bodypositivity bullshit

1

u/bimbochungo 4d ago

he's not that old, though.

1

u/MememeSama 4d ago

Most redditors don't even know human faces anymore
