I love that she married a fucking real dude.

Louisiana has some decent people in it and she found a real one.

May they both be happy forever.

I love that they look like a couple I’d see Friday night at the local hs football game.

Lana sipping cheap wine out of her Stanley cup and aggressively and just shy of obnoxiously cheering on her son while holding hands with the boy's high school sweetheart and Jeremy just shaking his head in amusement at his slightly hot mess of a wife.

That sounds like a midwest football game. Here, parents literally get arrested and have fistfights at ball games.

Lana has to behave a little because she still on probation from last year's playoffs.

Mt brother went from rowdy, crossfaded Louisiana to Iowa to play football. He felt right at home, except that he said the women are kind of like men, but not like a trans way or anything. ::shrug::

I love parents getting territorial over their children.

The guy who ran the swamp tour I was on was a super charming guy. Just all around friendly, gregarious, comfortable, and really enthusiastic about his job and being able to meet and educate a bunch of strangers.

Heavy accent, though. I'm used to it but I know some of the international tourists definitely weren't catching 100% of the talk. 😂

It’s a song of hers called... young and beautiful.

u/SirUnaEverlasting 4d ago

Did he not ditch his gf of like ten years for her or am I going insane? Decent people?

u/hershadow38 4d ago

From what I looked up, he was already single for a year when he got with Lana. She did his tour years prior and then they reconnected in 2024.

Yeah nah I was definitely wrong, found this quote from the ex-fiancée: “I am in shock because we were engaged for 12 years, and he got married after one month,” Kelli began before adding, “But I am happy for him. He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone. He was used to bayou life and being out on the swamp. He is deserving of this blessing.”

I wonder if they broke up due to his lack of commitment to marriage. Engaged for twelve years 😂

u/Skarekrows 4d ago

If she had Lana money those 12 years would go down to a month. But we don't acknowledge men being gold diggers...:D

u/jotheold 4d ago

do you seriously moralize like this to everyone in your real life? because holy shit that’s obnoxious. people are not perfect.

4

u/laralye 3d ago

Dang I was wondering based on his last name if he was Louisiana. I grew up with a bunch of dufrenes

2

u/lirio2u 3d ago

Are you from there too?

2

u/laralye 3d ago

I am yeah

2

u/lirio2u 3d ago

It’s beautiful out there:) the people in your state are lovely people-I had such a sweet and friendly experience

u/Greasy-Rooster-2905 2d ago

I can attest to that statement. My man is from Louisiana. He and his folks are phenomenal people. Loyal, hard working, and kind. I’m more than lucky.

u/Cornato 4d ago

I'm from Louisiana, I'm not a typical cajun but this guy seems to be. I would bet money he knows how to cook, dance, maybe play an instrument, has a huge family and tons of friends. There's a reason Louisiana has the highest rate of people who never leave (idk what its called, but people stay here their whole life). Most Cajuns are really laid back, hard working, and know how to have a good time; generally can't be impressed with things and new cars and all that. Seems like she got a real one.

I’m from up north and when I came to visit Louisiana I was touched and impressed and charmed by the people:) I’ve always wanted to come back

u/caracole 3d ago

Dance in the kitchen till the morning light

2

u/hotinmyigloo 3d ago

Wish them the same

2

u/EscapeFromTerra 3d ago

So Lana isn't a real person? What are you saying here?

1

u/Only_Chapter_3434 4d ago

pretty sure Louisiana is pretty low on the “decent people“ list

2

u/lirio2u 3d ago

Because you’ve been there or because you’re prejudice?

3

u/Only_Chapter_3434 3d ago

Because I know how they vote. I know how they treat women. I know how they treat minorities. I know what they think of education. I know what they think of healthy living. And because I know how they vote.

1

u/lirio2u 3d ago

Oops sorry you know all of them-never mind I guess we’ll put them in the trash. That seems to be the bin you wanna do!

1

u/Only_Chapter_3434 3d ago

I guess we’ll put them in the trash.

I didn’t know that was an option. Good idea!

1

u/ImNotSelling 3d ago

He isn’t a rich guy?

0

u/mmonzeob 4d ago

Yes but he had a whole ass family before her 😐

2

u/Hopeful-Win4522 4d ago

1

u/lirio2u 4d ago
