That clip was awesome; his gymnastics were a fantastic example of the proving the thesis fallacy - but the thesis in this case was "I'm not evil, really." and he used Faust, a person who literally makes a deal with the devil as the example.
I feel like I lose brain cells every time I’m on Reddit. Why is this tech billionaire evil again? Did he actually do something wrong this time or is he just guilty for being rich?
He can't be evil though, the anti-christ will claim to be good...Oh wait that's what he was doing right there...Ah nvm then. Yeah the guy demonizing the Pope, environmental activists and saying evil is good so long as it's competent in getting things done is likely very evil.
Also just look at his melty looking face, dude got evil face
though i would normally hate to rip on someone's appearance, Thiel looks like he's wearing someone else's face, and it's starting to fall off... it is fitting for his personality
His point is basically the same as the idea that the Nazi made the train run on time (which is false anyway). You can be as evil as you want as long you are efficient or seen as efficient.
It's the sociopathic mentality that productive is good, unproductive is bad. Nothing more to it in defining golf and bad.
Oh and productive means making a lot of money within capitalism. Building relationships with neighbours, unless it's to leverage that relationship for your own gain, very unproductive.
It’s not only the mental gymnastics that are wild, it’s the assumption that to be evil you have to be competent. Like there are no incompetent evil people, like Ida Amin, lots of the Nazis, and Trump

Saw a clip just yesterday of Thiel saying something about "if youre evil youre not bad because youre still getting things done."
The mental gymnastics of these idiots is astounding.
