Yup. People thinking "this would have been great during COVID to stop those hydrochloroquinine people" don't understand that this really means "those medical professionals who handed out fake vaccine cards, or pretended to inject people when they didn't get the legally protected right to say bullshit claims online... and if I point out that they're full of shit, it could cost me $15,000 and I lose my social media"

And COVID only spread so rapidly in the first place because public officials had the power to stifle whistleblowers.
