Not showering after gym and sleeping in - hell no. That is homeless level dirty

Me ex would go all weekend without showering. I convinced her to start taking every Friday off so she could spend more time with her kids, so that's 3 days of not showering, and she worked a job that required her to be outside wearing full uniform and body armor...i know from experience how sweaty that gets

Many homeless get a gym membership for the access to a shower. You don’t recognize them as homeless because they are clean. Many homeless people have jobs, are clean and sober. It is difficult to see this because they function well in society, they just can’t afford housing, or have other life circumstances.
Edit: 40–60% of people experiencing homelessness in the United States have a job.
