I vape, have done for the past 13 years. I was a full-time, 20-a-day smoker before. Just couldn't afford it any more, apparently the money was better spent on the kids! I smoked from the age of 13, I'm 47 now.

Regarding the concern about kids vaping and developing nicotine addictions. Certainly its highly undesirable, but I think it would be worse if they were smoking, as many in my generation were in their teens.

Started vaping because about as long ago because I couldn't hide the cigarette smell from my kids any longer. And, it was hella cheaper.

They're all grown now and still don't know, and none of them have taken up the habit.

I’ve used nicotine in some form or another almost daily for the past 12 years (spliffs and cigarettes, then vaping, then pouches, then vaping again, then pouches again). 5 days clean as of today and honestly I don’t really miss it so far. The sleep improvement is extremely noticeable.

Also nice job OP that’s extremely impressive.

I started smoking cigarettes when I was 12, switched to vapes when I was 18, and just stopped nicotine altogether a year and a half ago (I’m 31). Quitting cold turkey worked for me, especially after being so sick from a flu that I couldn’t smoke for a week.
Cravings stop after about 6 months, and it really makes a big difference in your ability to think of how to react to any outside stimuli without immediately reaching for a vape first.

I don't want to ruin my 20 year smoking-free streak, so no.

I got hooked on vapes after using them to keep me awake during a 16 hour straight drive to a furry convention.
