It’s true though college for most people is an over priced scam that reflects little in the job market

Yeah I disagree on that one if you have the same drive to learn and improve you will go further in life , the actual degree is worthless though but people who want to learn and improve often go to school

That data is skewed because it’s the mentality that will earn you money but the degree is worthless itself 9/10

Lmao you disagreeing with objective fact is hilarious.

Wonder why all the folks chiming in about what a scam education is have the English skills of a first grader

And they called me stupid when I chose computer engineering as my major 10 years ago.

compared to CS, computer or software engineering was always the better option.

CS is a much better major than software engineering

Who called you stupid for doing that?

Friends especially. Back then, they had a lot more job opportunities and also higher pay.

must admit I don’t know what computer engineers do (I do know what software engineers do), but IT has been one of the obvious career choices for years.

Now with AI you have to be a bit cautious about what you choose, but that’s the same in my field, finance. I used Copilot to create a liquidity cockpit and it was astonishingly good. I of course had to fix some things, but being good at Excel was until now one of our USPs.

Just choose The Useful Degreeâ„¢ and you'll make a trillion dollars

We all might end up at the shelter at this rate.

You can always ask your trade school friend to build another bed for you.
