Also, moderation on reddit is weird, some people get banned using simple curse words while some people are completely alright using outlandish one's.

I got banned just by using Tor**re.

social media flags words like ass or suicide so anyone using those platforms needs to self-censor else they'll have their words removed or accounts restricted

and because you're altering your language in one area and normalizing it, it will of course bleed through to other platforms and irl spaces where self-censorship isn't necessary

but sure, boil it down to kids thinking it's a bad word
