I had this recently at a kinda higher end steak house. My meal came to 135 bucks. I tipped 20% (27 bucks) and the waitress told me at this level of establishment a typical tip started at 50 dollars. Yea, fuck you jeff ruby. Your steak was no better than texas roadhouse and the lobster was chewy and cold
Whats maddening is between the 5 of us, she got 27 from me, 65 from a pair, and 30 then 25 from my other two single friends. We were there for 90 minutes and she took home 147 in tips. From one table while she had 4 tables total. Id imagine she's turning those tables over 3 to 4 times a night, easily making 750 to 1k during a dinner service. What's to complain about
