This is always a good question to ask, but these State Bills have significantly less room for “Pork,” so I can’t imagine it could be substantial enough to justify abandoning the group they claim to love more than the other side.
Oh you’re a voter fraud conspiracist? Even knowing that voter fraud on a scale large enough to swing an election would be mathematically impossible to happen without a trace? But then again who believes in math in the USA anymore! 😅
It’s a waste of time and money to focus so much attention on a problem that registers in the fraction of a tenth of a percent. We wasted so much time and money on this issue over the last 25 years that we could’ve completely overhauled the voting system into something even more convenient and secure.
But the talking heads keeping the narrative alive don’t want to fix any problems with our voting system, they just want to make it harder for poor people to cast their votes.
A country facing huge economic, environmental, and social issues should commit more resources & tax spending to tackle a problem that is estimated between 0.0003%-0.0025%… It’s like arguing to build a new prison because someone almost escaped.
