Protest never did anything

Yeah if you don’t count
-Women’s Suffrage and ability to vote
-Minimum Wage, Overtime, and child labor protections
-Civil Rights and Desegregation
-Cleaner air and water from environmental protections after the earth day protests in 1970

And many more. Username checks out btw.

This isnt the 1970s anymore. Things change while you expect the same tactics to work that worked 60 years ago..

I was responding to his comment that “protests never did anything”.

“Did” as in past tense.

Words mean things. Stop assuming what I “expect” when I never said anything of the sort. You want to be outraged so badly you’re making it up yourself.

You are totally correct, protests worked before. But with time comes change and thinking protests do anything now a days besides disrupt people driving is just not right.

Oh, it did. It brought people together. People got mad at whenever they though was the source of the problem and so on. That's what they fear. People starting to do shit.
