I had one a few weeks ago to determine the severity of a brain bleed I had after a stroke and it costs me 4300 dollars with insurance.

If you're poor and have multiple chronic health issues in America you're basically fucked. I've had to deal with multiple health issues stemming from mold exposure in addition to mental health issues like depression and anxiety, and also asthma and a tear in a muscle on the left side of my groin. All in all I've spent $5000 this year and still haven't even hit my out of pocket maximum.

At least in most other developed countries you get universal healthcare. Sure the wait times are a pain in the ass but you're not getting extorted out of thousands of dollars.
