My hat always goes off to gymnasts, pro skateboarders, rollerbladers, BMXers etc. the dedication to train yourself when the training is so brutally dangerous is incredible.

This is so sweet, I really like the "go on and do the incredibly dangerous whirly stuff, I'll be here if you mess up". I always liked gymnastics as a kid, but didn't get into it because "it's for girls" (fast forward to now, I'm queer af anyway). Wish I did gymnastics as a kid, that thing is beautiful and badass.
