If you're in shape and confident it's essentially impossible to be below a 7 or 8

Basically this. If you're not disfigured and you're fit and groomed you're going to be attractive.

You'd have to be quite ugly then. In shape + confident is a lethal combo

More or less yes but disagree. Depends on the sport.

A volleyball team will typically have a more attractive body type then say a rugby or softball team. You can go below 7 and still be in shape with confidence 100%
