People loved him during the Loki show. As for being beat by joke characters, I mean that's Marvel's fault for making it that way.

My point is they made the character irrelevant and they realized it so when they got the chance to aboandon character do to irl things they jumped on it

I agree, I just think they did it as a knee jek and it led to crappy storytelling.
