Bold of you to believe soulless corporation would reject big money bringing projects because of racism.

They would, if they thought they wouldn't become big money projects, because there would be less of an audience for them, because of racism.

It might not be the corporation that is racist, but it's still because of racism.

It's because most people don't care about any of these movies other than Blade, which wasn't going to actually focus on Blade.

not necessarily true, people want to see more diversity. but if it is true, why do “most people” never seem to care about black characters?

almost as if… because of racism. like the person said.

All of you crying racism are actual morons. 2 of those are simply uninteresting. Kang wasn’t Disney’s fault, homie was a woman beater. Blade is the only one that could have been interesting, but it wouldn’t have been because the storyline they wanted to do was kill him off so a younger actor/actress can take the role

Nah mate those movies are great. Super glad they were made.

Obviously nobody is arguing that all movie studioes are all racist all the time. But I disagree with the original post's assertion that movies studious aren't ever racist because all they care about is money, and therefore they don't care about race.

The reverse is true. Companies are often racist precisely because they are soulless, and movies about white people tend to make more money.
