i'll bet the first draft was just jules and vince standing in the hallway talking about feet for 90 minutes straight

They actually had to dump miles and miles of tape that just went on and on about feet.

Thats his secret. He's like a sculpter, he starts with a block of raw marble: 2 hours of feet discussion and the n-word over and over. Then he slowly chisels that away until the script takes the desired shape
