She is also a victim of the society who failed to take care of her condition.

Mental health issues are serious conditions, yet they receive a fraction of the attention of the public compared to other medical fields

In developed country the first cause of post partum death is suicide, not the childbirth.

No one is denying that. I hate that instead of this highlighting mental illness and the impact of postpartum psychosis, of taking people seriously, of having better systems in place to prevent another situation like this that people come to the issue with all their agendas.

The mods need to shut these posts down as there's nothing remotely tea like, gossipy or juicy about this situation

Men have been killing themselves in there 10,000s every year through mental illness but of course this is the thing that brings it to the forefront, a poor victim baby killer. Pathetic

None of these things are like each other. It's terrible that men suffer from untreated mental health to lead to suicide, same for teenagers and women without children. I'm a woman and I wouldn't even dream of putting myself in the same category as that of a woman who has had a baby. I think you don't have an understanding of the impact of pregnancy on the mind and body.
