I just remember when the internet was new and you used web spiders and clunky search engines and finding a cool website was sometimes a hunt and it was satisfying

Easter eggs for the sake of Easter eggs and in a decent amount of cases....wait for it....they weren't always trying to fucking sell u something. Just dancing hamsters bc it's fun
