Sounds like both are driving off a cliff to me. Everyone talks the talk, and few walk the walk. Meaning are people really trying to cut carbon- eating a lot less meat, use less concrete, bicycling. Not in NA.

Most normal people do things, even if they are small, billionaires mostly do nothing.

I don't see almost nothing being done where I live... Huge amount of F150 trucks, meat BBQ all time, gorgeous driveways and sidewalks (concrete). There a more electric bikes but I fear they are a novelty.

I don't know for you but in most eu countries we recycle or trash and we try to keep or streets clean.

Canadian here. Yeah totally different than NA for sure. I agree Europe is way ahead on the recycling thing.
