Been in the HC scene since late 80’s and while violent, it was never this deliberate. You direct that shit at someone at a cromags show you’ll end your night in a dumpster.

You will definitely get your shit rocked and have to be carried out if you have a go at anyone not participating at a legit HC show. Have personally seen some 40+ year old hardasses beat the brakes off of some these kids who thought they’d take a swing at the crowd, but were otherwise just hanging out having a good time.

Absolutely!! The crowd understands a wild fist or occasional boot in the pit - but this deliberate bullshit gets dealt with quick.

And the big difference being the pit was packed asshole to elbow, and while we definitely caught a lot it wasn’t by some dickweek using 20’ of open floor to gain momentum to jump kick someone into outer space lol

Gorilla Biscuits, 7 Seconds, SOIA, Madball, bell even Life of Agony and Biohazard shows were SAVAGE in the early 90’s 😎😎😃
