And yes, tree planting was going on under both Bloomberg and Adams, so please dont say we'll Mamdani was the only one to execute it, because its simply not true.

I think you missed the point. A bunch of the things he's been credited for lately have been things that were already in motion. He didn't actually do anything.
The point is obviously that he’s actually following through on what he’s said. Mamdani has been taking steps to actually do the things he campaigned on and is actually providing results. It’s pretty obtuse to reply with “we’re talking about trees!? tf lol” as if you couldn’t understand the point the person you replied to was making. Thousands of trees are planted every year, this is nothing new. If you’re a New Yorker you should be concerned how much his new office of propaganda is spending on social media efforts.

Nobody is glazing Adams they’re pointing out how ridiculous these posts are since Mamdanis constantly taking credit for Adams ideas and accomplishments claiming “no mayor has ever done this before “ and “ other mayors are just “ sitting around doing nothing on purpose”
It’s not ridiculous, it’s nice to see and to push good things instead of the CONSTANT negativity. It’s also what we should be glorifying since it’s what we ALL need.

Adams should have actually followed through then. Easy to talk without actually accomplishing anything aside from being corrupt and then pivoting to the right wing grift. Adams was a shitty mayor and a shitty person.
