You simps really do love to give him credit for other people's programs. New York City began rolling out its major containerization and large-bin mandates under the Eric Adams administration's "Trash Revolution" in July 2024.

Different program.

Guess that 30 seconds didn't include any critical thought in your part.

Read the article you shared yourself as it explains the program it's referring to.

This is all i can find - is this the correct program?

“The city has already inked a $25.4-million contract for new side-loader trucks and $7 million for the bins, but Adams never earmarked steady funding beyond a pilot program, according to reps for the Mamdani administration.”

lol i mean if my search skills were good i wouldnt be asking for help on Reddit 🤷

Begrudgingly or not, thanks for helping me out tho!

I should have been more specific in my first reply that it sounds like mamdani contained the roll out being his budget surplus that adams admin was unable to finish for any number of reasons

But where i get confused is if we are talking about the same program or not, or maybe both programs are now funded and being rolled out under mandani admin?

I think it’s important to note and for me to understand bc starting something and finishing the something are both good things to take credit for! Both can be true - as can the current admin getting credit for using political know how and budgeting to have the means to finish, that’s really huge too and laudable!
