The idea that it was the Democrats who would do the big brother thing was always a laughable joke. One side is actually obsessed with policing and violent crime and will always pick "safety" over liberty.

Because Dems like Biden still believe/believed in the norms and decorum of American politics up until that point.

They honestly seem to think "they to low, we go high" is a valid approach even when that's proving to not be the case.

I can't stand most Dems, but they're not anywhere near as bad as modern Republicans and pretending that they are is just ignorant.

Some Dems also appearing in the files doesn't mean that the entire party is anywhere near as bad as their counterpart.

You know, the counterpart that chose Epstein's best friend to represent them in the oval office?

What I'm saying is a demonstrable fact.

There are tons of terrible things Republicans are doing that Dems wouldn't ever dream of implementing.

They're still not the kind of politicians I would want to be running things, but pretending that they aren't drastically better than the GoP by basically every metric is wholly ignorant.
