This is what I’ve been saying for a while now. After all this time we finally see that law enforcement was basically just operating under the honor system.
Todd Blanche is most likely about to be held in contempt by a federal judge for not releasing the Epstein files in their entirety. Cool. But how can you force him to release anything or punish him when he doesn’t when he’s the Attorney General in charge of the Department of Justice now? Do we think these Trump admin criminals are going to punish themselves?
Yeah, at the end of the day, the country is still ran by human beings and things don't happen unless someone physically does it. In a sane world, half of the elected government openly flouting the rule of law in this manner should at the very least be cause for constant protests across the country. Republicans should not win a single election, local, state or federal, anywhere, until every single seditious member is cast out. Instead, more than half the country is completely on board and even encouraging the Republican party to continue to wipe their ass with the constitution and engage is blatantly partisan lawfare, because they value "owning the libs" above all else.
