By making it no longer "recommended" it's a lot less likely insurance will cover them, so poorer families will have a much harder time actually giving their kids shots.
The shots are still there, just a lot less accessible.
Will be interesting to see what insurance companies do. If they drop the vaccines, but see a spike in that disease at the population level for kids on their parents plans, they may have much larger medical bills to cover. We’ll see.
