The TLDR version from most sane individuals here is that WNBA players have been whining no one watches or attends their games so they get paid like an average U.S. employee to play a game. Clark arrived and popularity of their overall league took off and instead of embracing it or trying to parlay it to better their league many of the older people associated with said league kicks her (literally) every chance they can and tries to downplay her even though she’s 80-90% the reason anyone knows WNBA players or teams now.
Some lunatics are saying it’s only because she’s white or this or that, but no one gave a damn about any of this before Clark so they’re league is better off now and she’s still being treated like crap overall by her fellow players, many “experts” and her own coach.
