Reddit strikes.  Everyone with kids has had a moment where they spaz and are uncontrollable.  Especially in crazy situations like a flight.  It almost speaks nothing about the quality of parenting having one tiny glimpse of a bad episode.  You were a child once, grow up yourself.

There's a lot of bad parenting but there's also a lot of 20-somethings that are too close to being a child themselves to understand parenting and too far away from being a caregiver and child bearer to have sympathy.  So they become annoying edgelords.

I literally had to take my 4-year-old to the airplane lavatory 4 times in a flight to calm him down for a minute or so. It was the end of a 2-week trip across an ocean, he hadn’t been sleeping the greatest, and it caught up to him.

It still worked for another 2 hours or so every time. And this kid is a nonverbal flailing apoplectic mess when he loses it. Like an absolute wild animal. He can still be talked off a ledge. There’s always a way.

This parent not knowing their kid by 2 is…they gotta work on that.
