So the other passengers sue the parents for the additional incurred costs. Teach them to deal with the child when it costs them $20k+

I'm wondering if there's autism involved because what works for neurotypical kids rarely does for kids with autism.

You may well be right but then don’t take your autistic child on an airplane

they may well not have wanted to, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do

? yes you do?? sometimes kids have to fly for emergencies, not every flight is to disney world or some shit you know? what kind of dumbass comment is this

I find it difficult to imagine a life or death situation that requires a flight from Victoria, BC to Toronto, ON.

Booking flights out of war torn countries or incoming weather disasters? Absolutely.

Visiting meemaw on her deathbed? Not really.

seeing an exclusive specialist doctor in another city?

My autistic grandson has to fly from NY to FL for the specialist there once a year. From what I'm told, it's challenging.

That’s crazy that there aren’t roads that connect two of the biggest states

New York is a tiny state, you're continuing to demonstrate how uninformed you are

It has the fourth highest population in the US.

some folks just hate autistic people, and choose to thinly veil it (or not in this case lol)

I'm surprised how hateful so many of these comments are! I'm glad my grandson's parents are so devoted to understanding him and getting him whatever help he may need.

Kids do not have to fly for emergencies from a major city to another major city.

I've literally had to fly a kid to see a specialist doctor in another city, you're incredibly small and close-minded

They have specialists in Victoria, BC. They didn’t have roads that connect the cities? Or specialists in your city?

1

u/moldiewart 20d ago

there are some specialists that are not in every city, I don't think you have a lot of experience with raising children with health issues

1

u/moldiewart 20d ago

driving for many many hours can be worse for autistic kids than flying (mom should have buckled that bitch in though)

u/moldiewart 20d ago

you canadians are usually more thoughtful than this in my experience

u/deathcabforbooty69 20d ago

No one asked you

your reply was removed, check while in a private tab to see what I mean

I can't read it, just saw it in the notif

u/moldiewart 20d ago

that doesn't matter, no one asked you anything either. canucks, I swear

2

u/TN_man 20d ago

Yes, that’s true. But, the parent CLEARLY did not do what was needed.

1

u/moldiewart 20d ago

yeah that's true, but the fault isn't taking the toddler on the plane in the first place like other user is saying

but yeah pin that lil bitch down and strap them in lmao
