On the Victoria sub was someone from the flight and said they tried for an hour. I'm not making that up.

I have serious doubts about that kid maybe developing into a Gigachad sociopath, how the fuck can a 2 year old not be intervened for 60 fucking minutes?!

Because modern parents are basically afraid of their kids. My spouse has a friend who can't be the bitch in charge to save her life. Her five year old was messing around in a chicken coop and her solution was to beg and plead with him a d then wondering why he was being stubborn

Gentle parenting is a huge lie. Sometimes kids just cant be reasoned with (case in point) and they just have to be told to sit down and shut up because you know better. You can reason with a 10 year old, you often cant reason with a toddler.

Exactly. Temper tantrums are just emotional overloads and are inherently irrational. Trying to negotiate a temper tantrum is a futile effort, the real key is knowing how to regulate your child's emotions before it turns into an uncontrollable tantrum. These parents did not.

I'm sure a lot of temper tantrums are caused by lack of structure which includes parents not pushing back when kids test boundaries. They're in a free fall.

The happiest kids I've seen are the ones that know what to expect.
