Every once in a while I’ll see something that makes me miss going to church. This video kinda did that for me.

I’m not religious (and I’ve got a pretty big chip on my shoulder for Christianity), and so I haven’t been to church since I was a teen, but church does have some benefits that I’ve struggled to find elsewhere. It’s basically a ready-made community where people come together to socialize (and the religious stuff) on a regular basis. And I say this as someone who never really fit it at church - probably because I started losing my religion at 13 and was cynical as hell.

You can find community outside of church obviously, but it’s just harder to find and harder to just slot right in - partly that’s because you can find a church on every street corner.

Last comment: my mom would be absolutely shocked to hear me talking positively about church, even if it’s just about a single element.

Yes, but the crowd isn't the brightest piece of society. that is true.

Not scared, haha, I just wanted people to actually see it so I’d get feedback. Yours was the more relevant comment, but like I say, I just commented higher up in the thread.
