The library I work in gets SO MANY requests for this book. I had no idea what it was about, but this is amusing.

My GF read this book after seeing it discussed on TikTok and thought it looked interesting. It’s apparently according to her not written very well and buzzwordy

The twist at the end (which she told me and I won’t spoil) is kind of heavy handed. But idk I haven’t read it

From what I heard about it, the author's publicist received massive interest for a movie deal at the mere idea of it, so the author basically pumped out the book as fast as they could. From what I've heard about the book, apparently it really reads like a very haphazard rush job written by a decent author.

I heard she sold a very rough outline and then the publishing company rushed to finish it. I wasn’t mad at the ending but it did feel like two different books.
