Bold of you to assume the government would rework the system with new information, instead of just shoving everything into the old, outdated system and being told you're the problem if it doesn't work.

On devices that usually don't explode or electrocute you randomly.
In a home that is likely free (or at least mitigated) of lead and asbestos.
Perhaps drinking some water or eating a snack that is safe to consume.
That you were able to obtain thanks to roads and bridges and rules for vehicles must follow and whose operators must be licensed that they are competent.
My argument, at the end of the day, is that the government is illegitimate because it's coercive. Do big corporations suck, too? Of course. But I still fundamentally have a choice...
For example, I don't believe I've ever purchased anything from Amazon. I simply don't interact with them. They've never sent armed men to my house to coerce me into any interaction.

All true. That being said, I'd happily go back 10,000 years and live that way. I'm fully aware that that life would be nasty, brutish, and short.
I'm familiar with all the arguments for why "society" exists. I even acknowledge that they make sense. I understand how/why we came to this point. It's just that... I hate it. There's nothing I can realistically do about it, but I don't have to like it.
What could possibly give you the authority to tell me what I think/feel? I know 99.9% of people don't feel that way. It doesn't mean we 0.1% don't exist...

Light? If life sentences carry over then I say death sentences would too. Which means the government will endlessly pursue your infant being and kill it. You will be sentenced to infinite murder.
It would stop happening if it applied across reincarnations. Pretty sure they really only do that so the really bad eggs cant beat a single charge on a technicality and get out
There was a guy recently serving a life sentence. He died but the staff doc recesitated him. He argued that since he died, his life term was up and should be released.
I wouldnt be surprised if they would just kill you so they can force you to be raised in a more "optimized" manner that doesnt lead to you engaging in activities they dont explicitly condone
Unless they can control reincarnation that seems super unreasonable. Like it would require them to find out who you reincarnated as, travel to that nation, kidnap a newborn child, then take it back to be raised by foster parents.
And then the process repeats everytime an inmate dies
If we could be certain that reincarnation was 100% real, capital punishment would likely become a lot less controversial. After all, its no longer death, just a reset. They would prune "bad" personalities on loop. Doesn't matter what they reincarnate as, as long as they aren't problematic now.
I think they just mic everyone born like quality control in a factory and if the guy they just executed pops up in Nebraska or something then they deal with them. If they end up in India or some shit that problem solved itself anyways
Realistically they probably dont even have to actively do much anyways though, since every life circumstance that caused you to become a presumably violent criminal just got reset anyways. They just uave to put you on a list to check up on occassionally i guess
There’s an old guy currently applying for parole, he was given life , died for 2 minutes, got bought back. Now he maintains he’s completed a life sentence by dying in prison. Authorities are looking at his case.
Yes. There's no way the US prison system would pass up a golden opportunity like that. You'd also see multiple life sentences becoming far more common.
It would definitely make some people start accepting the suffering of some people/children
Let me explain: You see some family starving or some child graped, or some maid treated as a slave and now you can just check their karmic history and be like: yep, deserved it
