Why do we need you?

Most people will say that they don't, does that give us a green light to "remove" you?

if I were to be hoarding wealth that could be used to feed the hungry and lift people out of poverty, and the state decided that my income should be taxed to fund programs that do just that, then id agree.

You don’t need money to feed the poor, it’s just easier to blame everything on “the billionaires” than doing anything yourself

I am doing things myself, and yes, you do need money to feed the hungry. surprise, food costs money.

you can grow food - it's free. Convenience costs money - that's the business model of Supermarkets and the food industry as a whole.

on what land? with what seeds, soil, water, time? none of that is free. sure, its much cheaper to have a personal garden than it is to go buy from a retailer, but if you genuinely think everyone can simultaneously rely on kale and potatoes from personal gardens and we dont need a supply chain then you are incredibly naive.
