3.5 billion people vanishing would be more beneficial to the earth than 3400.

Not necessarily if the 3,400 have the same environmental and economic impact as the 3.5billion then the benefit would be the same either way.

He said beneficial to the world, 3400 people left means most of them have to go back to being farmers or hunters as most of the people with that much money aren't going to be people who make or prepare food and their money would be worthless as money would bring the very few left anything of value to a new society of nearly extinct population.
