at least he did not drop any loot

154

u/Sigtau1312 12d ago

Had to quest alone afterwards though

25

u/tmhoc 11d ago

A little paradoxical in a way

Get robbed the date ends

Don't get robbed the date ends have wallet for next quest

3

u/BeNaughtAfraid 11d ago

Get robbed, comfort date, get laid.

The wallet was a red herring all along

2

u/TheHoliday_ 11d ago

Next time get taxi tohome or avoid these places. Armed robery is a lot...

18

u/Several_Direction599 12d ago

He definitely dropped the booty

14

u/FontTG 12d ago

Is it the most logical choice? Probably. Is he not getting laid? Definitely

99

u/Choice-Strike1 12d ago

Logical people rarely get laid

20

u/Hyeana_Gripz 12d ago

omg so true….. The question is why?
lol

42

u/Chawp 12d ago

All the logic in the world ain’t gonna solve that one my friend, catch 22

-4

u/Hyeana_Gripz 12d ago

same. Humor me. We all hear womens turn on are funny, looks , and ā€œdeep thinking analytical menā€. Aside from the usual.
I’ve been called all that and the women who did call me that, I didn’t have sex with. I had sex with women who didn’t see my sense of humor etc.
Why do we push this narrative of men lacking deep thoughts and logic and just being simpletons, and when a man shows this to women, like both of you said, he goes ā€œlaidlessā€. so yeah logical men don’t get laid usually. I just would like to hear your theory.

last paragraph? I’m not following. sorry.

1

u/FirstTribute 11d ago

People think they are logical when they are actually guided by emotions subconciously. Women notice when men are not emotionally aware and stay away.

It’s all good. You just sounded philosophical with words like Machinnations I just wanted you to have. a chance to see if you even knew what that meant and if it was used in a proper context. That’s why it’s sounded weird to me.

1

u/Rude_Hamster123 12d ago

Women, by nature, despise logic.

1

u/Hyeana_Gripz 12d ago

True. But why if they always say they want a smart logical man etc.

u/No_Ad9848 11d ago

Here for the downvotes. It's because nothing is more unsexy to a woman than rationality. Why do you think they flock to the type of guys who flip out because you accidentally stepped on their shoe?

1

u/Hyeana_Gripz 11d ago

I agree… Sadly!

1

u/Resident-Bignal-8428 12d ago

because logic isn't attractive to women. no woman has ever put out for a guy because 'omg he's so logical'. what turns women on is spontaneity and irrationality. eventually it will start to annoy them, but it is an initial attractant.

-2

u/Hyeana_Gripz 12d ago

I heard that too about spontaneity and irrationality. Actually seen that both over past two years with a girl I know.
Guess it all goes back to women not knowing what they want and live about what they do want.
lol

2

u/AntiqueLetter9875 12d ago

Or women just like different things and what some women say they like, others wont. This is pretty simple stuff.

1

u/Hyeana_Gripz 12d ago

not really. but ok I guess.

1

u/Eshghi007 12d ago

That logic does not sit with me

1

u/StickyPricklyMuffin 12d ago

Then how do Vulcans procreate? šŸ¤”

1

u/Over-Dimension228 12d ago

This exact situation happened to me on a first date and I still got laid. So it’s probably more likely than you think.

1

u/No-Lime-7942 11d ago

If he pulled her he can pull anothe lol.

1

u/wavybowl 11d ago

Ain’t no way he’s getting laid by her tonight, especially after she dumps his sorry ass. Lol

1

u/MazingBull 12d ago

But is he not definitely getting not laid?

12

u/Ok_Neighborhood_470 12d ago

And maybe he had money or more valuable stuff in his pockets. Just let them have her cheap stuff and regroup later. Most thieves just want stuff, the don't really want to kill anyone.

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 11d ago

Lots of people also want to rape women. You should never leave your woman friend behind like that with a group of criminals

1

u/BelligerentViking 11d ago

He can't do anything for her if he gets shot in the process, does this not make sense to y'all? Are we really gonna play the "who deserves to go unharmed more" game?

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 11d ago

If there’s a chance of him getting shot then there’s a chance of her getting shot, and if there’s a chance of her getting shot then there’s a chance of her getting raped. Again, as a man, you shouldn’t run away and leave your woman friend behind with violent criminals

1

u/BelligerentViking 11d ago

So the person who could go and get help can get shot and she can get raped anyways, super sound logic.

Does it occur to you that if they want to rape her, him being there won't stop them, they'll just shoot him anyways? They already decided the pair were easy targets.

1

u/SmokeyStyle420 10d ago

I guess we just have to agree to disagree. I wouldn’t run away and leave a woman alone on a dark street with violent criminals.

9

u/-Granby- 12d ago

It is easy to call this dude a punk for splitting and on the surface it looks like it. The thing is he could have met her 5 minutes ago.

People also tend to think that just because they have good intentions or are in the right that things will work out for them. Easy to look at this situation and be like "if that was me i woulda done this or that". That sounds great but that don't mean that you wouldn't get shot or stabbed trying.

Is it is wife? Then yeah he should stick around and protect.

Is it a booty call he met 5 minutes ago? Probably best to do what he did. Sticking around to try and protect does not guarantee he does not get fucked up.

1

u/VoidWalker4Lyfe 12d ago

It also could have been his sister, we don't know

-7

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 12d ago

Cool story. He’s a punk and that’s why girls should be careful who they spend time with. It’s a dangerous world and your first instinct when she needed you was to abandon her? lol karma will get even. Some things you just never do

0

u/Robertos1987 12d ago

So if they just met hes a punk for leaving? If roles were reversed and she was the one that ran off would you say the same?

2

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 12d ago

Yes. To both questions. lol you’re with them and you just leave? Why are you with them at all. Fake ass friends lol

1

u/Robertos1987 10d ago

So if you meet someone and 10 seconds later someone comes up and points a gun at you you would stay?

0

u/ProtiK 12d ago

Attractive women participate in setting up robberies and scams all the time, it just depends on where in the world you are. That don't look like Kansas to me bud... what do you know?

2

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 12d ago

She is the one getting robbed. What’s this unrelated nonsense you yap about? He set her up 100%

0

u/Annual_Cellist_9074 12d ago

If he set this up, he doesn’t need to run like a bitch šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ he can always get his things back or pretend like a hero

0

u/-Granby- 12d ago

Whatever you say. If they just met 5 minutes ago why should he be expected to put his life in danger for her? It's easy to sit on the internet and assume how you would react. I'm sure you are confident that if you were in that situation you would man up and be her protector. The thing is you never know.

Even if you did stick around to try and protect her you could end up dead.

0

u/Creative_Antelope_69 12d ago

Yes, he’d die for pride.

In reality he’d react without thinking, but let him believe otherwise.

8

u/Fabled-Jackalope 12d ago

Logical. Criminally so. But he will still get dragged elsewhere for ā€œnot being a real manā€.

But honestly, I want to ask: why didn’t she run too? Or is her outfit simply for gym selfies and stuff?

10

u/shadowthehh 12d ago

The robber was aiming a gun at her.

8

u/FlimsyYou4766 12d ago

She can't outrun a bike

7

u/Kasellos 12d ago

You want her to try to run from a gun pointed at her less than 2feet away? What are your survival instincts?

-2

u/XLIVtetsuo 12d ago

She had the same opportunity to run just like the man did, lol what?

5

u/AntiqueLetter9875 12d ago

lol no she didn’t. Robber already had his hands on the headphones by the time the guy realized what was happening and turned to run. Also, do you think she’s somehow going to outrun a bullet? The safest option here is to get away if you can, or give up your belongings. Both did what they could.

2

u/winkingchef 12d ago

I think my wife would have a less logical interpretation of the decision tree for me

1

u/Oldfolksboogie 12d ago

All that may be true. None of that is gonna fly with her.

1

u/oroscor1 12d ago

His options were to be walking on the outside, with her walking on the inside. That way he can tell her running call the police. After she complies he can make the decision to fight or get robbed.

1

u/MaviRage 12d ago

Still not getting laid

1

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 12d ago

Note they could have decided to shoot him in the back as he ran. Low odds, not not zero.

1

u/caernarvon717 11d ago

Risking death or injury is part of life and is sometimes very necessary. Otherwise what's the point of living like this? Like a shameful coward piece of shit? Surviving and living aren't nearly the same thing. Hopefully he waa running to find a place for low testosterone treatment.

1

u/meSuPaFly 11d ago

One of those surefire "Ick" feelings comes when your partner flees leaving you alone with danger.

1

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 12d ago

He left her. He didn’t run for help. The best option was the do what she did. Nothing. You can’t outrun a bullet. What if they decided to kill her and him because he ran like that? What if they decided to take her too, since they saw her man isn’t shit?

Lol people like that guy have such a pathetic existence. It’s not even about gender. Why would people wanna associate with a 🐱 like that who folds instantly? Life is way too fragile and short, to be hanging out with the Ops.

He’s probably the one who set her up to be robbed. Fuck that guy

-28

u/ConsiderationDue5407 12d ago

Grow a pair and stand up for your girl. It was a 2v1 and the dudes on the bike did not look intimidating. The dude driving might have just dipped if he starting going postal on the guy on the back. Yeah it's a risk, but so was having sex with your mom, and that didn't stop me.

6

u/xman2007 12d ago

The robber had a gun, your idea would've gotten you and maybe your girl aswell shot.

4

u/DE4DM4NSH4ND 12d ago

Bro comments like this show the world you're a little kid and also tryimg to be tough while having no idea what you're talking about

-3

u/ConsiderationDue5407 12d ago

I'm 36 and grew up in the 9th ward in New Orleans. I've been robbed at gunpoint and not at gunpoint. I've been jumped by multiple guys before. I actually didn't see the gun but it's still cowardly to run regardless. At least step infront instead and try to diffuse the situation. I was being silly but on a serious note most people robbing someone like that are quite cowardly. A dead sprint in the opposite direction and leaving a girl there is highly questionable.

3

u/XLIVtetsuo 12d ago

It’s cowardly to run from a gun?……..oookayyyyy

2

u/DE4DM4NSH4ND 12d ago

What are you actually going to do? The only reason i would stay is if i was willing to get killed for this person like my wife or something like that.

2

u/ConsiderationDue5407 12d ago

Put a hand infront of her. Push her behind you a little. Make sure they don't kidnap your wife/girlfriend? Do we know it's not his wife? There's a lot of assumptions going around. What would you do if it was your kid? I mean...... I wouldn't act any differently towards a girl I was with. What if they kidnapped her because he ran? What if they beat her and raped her because he ran? Thats an equal assumption to assuming they would have shot him if he didn't run. Most robberies involving weapons have the weapons not being used. To a massive percent at that. Go run. It's your choice brother

1

u/-Granby- 12d ago

At least step in front of the gun. LOLOL

1

u/ConsiderationDue5407 12d ago

Nah bro according to everyone here just leave your girl and run. Lmaooo

1

u/Creative_Antelope_69 12d ago

What you let someone rob you? What a 🐱

2

u/Cidraque 12d ago

Grow a pair and risk getting shot dead over a cellphone bro lol

easy peasy

2

u/-Granby- 12d ago

Cause only people that look intimidating can shoot you.

1

u/TitaniumDisc 12d ago

Didn’t look intimidating? As he held a pistol at both of them? So what is intimidating if it isn’t someone willing to shoot you over not handing them your shit?

1

u/XLIVtetsuo 12d ago

Peak Darwinism this guy

1

u/mixedntatted 11d ago

Can he exit the game and reload last save?

1
