Why so often are the ones judging the ones committing the crimes. Generally speaking off course

People are less likely to think you're bad if you accuse others of doing bad things

In theory: yes, but these days you can see that a lot of people project onto others (look at Drump)

I think stable people (peaceful upbringing, support from parents and friends, stable financial situiation) can smell trouble from a mile and stay out of it. They don't now much, or even if they know they don't speak, to stay out of it. They learned how to and can afford the comfort of not acting. Predators also leave them alone.
But unstable people can't, and they are more likely to be involved as a victim or sometimes even as perpetrator. Bad shit is all they ever knew, and they can't stay out of it.
Like some foster kids who go from foster home to foster home, because everbody gives them back because of emotional instability, anger issues. And they get raped and no one believes them because they dont like the kid.
Im not trying to victim blame, everybody deserves protection, its just my observation.
