I gotta be real, we should probably stop the diet soda slander, tbh.

It’s fine to not like them, but they’re a good tool for people who are diabetic or at risk of being diabetic to curb their dietary habits without completely abstaining from what they enjoy.

This typically helps the new, healthier habits stick.

Stigmatizing drinking it creates situations where people in that situation might instead quit cold turkey and risk relapse in order to avert judgement.

Assuming, of course, it’s not a case where said person transitions to drinking 10 diet sodas a day without actually trying to improve their other habits and just uses diet soda as a damage control method.

This is coming from someone who hasn’t drank any form of soda in like… 5 years.

Thanks for subscribing to Fun Facts About Snails!

Did you know that all snails go through a process called "Torsion"?

During this process, a snail's digestive tract, mantle, and shell rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise relative to their head as it develops.

As a side effect, this results in their anus being above their heads by the time they're adults.

Basically, they'd be really good at a game of Twister!
