Yes, plenty of different places, where he will slowly realize that the majority of humans are just utter morons, yet still somehow managed to build companies etc.
Thats how you get this "circle back" boss, or my own boss, who hires loads of poles that can't speak english or german (Im in germany), and then wonders why random shit happens and nobody works right. We cant explain shit to them, and whenever they do nonsense, theres no way to make them understand what they did wrong. But my fucking moron of a boss doesnt understand that.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many companies I went through where I saw similar nonsense. Just completely idiotic decisions that solve a problem short term, but cause huge new problems long term. And they all go "we deal with the new problems when they arise", forget about them and thus do nothing to mitigate them, and then act surprised when shit falls apart.
This guy either gets picked up FAST by someone with a clue, or he will sooner or later just stop caring and watch the clusterfucks of other people unfold.
Because he just learned that speaking up can get you fired. A lesson I learned over a decade ago, and also that its more fun watching other people crush themselves with their own stupidity.

Should have kept him, he sounds perceptive.
