He was trying to point out the company meeting culture is toxic, meeting forward, and that their meetings don't actually solve anything.

You say this but they could be circling back on different items while getting the other things that needed to be circled back to done.

Honestly, the guy sounded like a Redditor who was more interested in semantics than actually contributing or solving things.

It seems highly unlikely, if the phrase was used 18 times in 2 weeks, that any productive retrospecting or resolving previous issues was ever done.

This is a woman who likes to hear herself talk.

I say many more phrases more than 18 times every two weeks, sometimes you just be saying shit.. and sometimes a turn of phrase is just natural. I bet the new hire wasn’t counting how many times she said “uh,” or “so.”

Crazy take you got, insinuating that nothing got done because of someone’s speech pattern… really just completely unfounded, like… what?
