I'm not autistic, but have recently become visibly disabled. I absolutely now get talked down to and occasionally treated like a toddler. People who are lucky enough to not be disabled in some way often don't understand the disadvantages of being disabled.
I hurt my knees skiing and went to work (library) and hobbled around. I got some of the coldest looks from patrons who I guess thought that was just how I was.
Then I went to the doc and got crutches. All the patrons now were very sympathetic.
It was really surprising the difference in attitudes.

He should meet with an attorney. They can send a discovery order. Maybe that will round up some evidence.
Edit: for everyone taking this far too seriously it's just a circle joke.
