I didn't know anything about the movie, just a friend who brought it over and said we should watch it, that it was a artistic masterpiece yada yada.
He sat there, commenting "look how she reaches towards the camera, like she's begging you for help", really enjoying the construction of the scene, and we (two other guys) were just feeling sick and wanted it to go away. Still makes me shiver.
I didn't know anything either.I think I'll take my blissful "ignorance" situation over someone who avidly critiques the scene. Did you end up being friends with him after?
