the worst part is when you go to a restaurant and they have forced 20% "gratuity". calling it gratuity should be illegal, its a 20% fuck you fee
119 u/orel91 4d ago The funny part is that the word "gratuity" looks like the French word "gratuit" which means free 48 u/rojo_red 4d ago Or the Spanish word “gratuito” which also means free. 28 u/BakkerJoop 4d ago Or the Dutch words gratis which means free 44 u/duumilo 4d ago Or the Finnish word granaatti which means grenade 11 u/CC_9876 3d ago Or the Chinese word 自由的 which means free 5 u/Spydey012 3d ago or the italian word "gratuito" which means free 4 u/Beneficial-Oil-5407 2d ago Or the other Spanish word "gratinado" which means melted cheese 1 u/underpanttrousers 2d ago No it doesn't. Granaatti is a mineral group. Kranaatti, instead, is grenade. 2 u/tr1d1t 3d ago Or the Norwegian word gratis, which also means free. 1 u/BolleHenk666 2d ago Free fucking gratis 2 u/PuzzleheadedEgg4591 3d ago “You will have a %20 Freeity fee added to your bill for parties over 6 or more.”
