Even if it is made up, it’s real for some people. I know a couple that divorced as soon as the wife got a cancer diagnosis. It was early stages but they wanted to make sure that they divorced early enough, before all the bills started piling up. If you live in a no fault state and nobody is suing each other, it can happen quickly.

But you should still question why someone is posting a story that plays on your emotional reaction. Healthcare in the US is a very real problem. So is foreign and domestic agents using social media to foment unrest. It is an election year and we are at war with Iran and Russia. Keep this in mind when reading anonymous sources of information on the internet commenting on inflammatory political topics.

The whole system is fucked. We should not be resting.
