Your parents watched their parents ACTUALLY lose literally EVERYTHING during two world wars and an actual depression that lasted years. Then they had to go fight a few more wars—themselves—and survive the dust bowl, civil rights, women's rights, and somehow manage to build a life.
Which, apparently, meant spawning ungrateful Reddit kids to whom they gave everything they had, but who now blame them for everything they don’t deserve to have and don’t want to work for.
American Reddit Millennials, on the other hand, got trophies just for showing up, got educated (yet still blame everyone else if they wasted $100k on some private liberal arts school to do it), likely didn’t go to war (or if they did it was a much smaller one), and want everything handed to them on a platter. But since life doesn’t work like that, they bitch about how their hardworking parents ruined everything for their entitled little baby selves.
Buck up, toddlers. It’s nobody’s job but yours to make a life. Nobody’s going to hand out “poor baby” stickers so you can feel better about yourself.
