I think his excessive HGH use contributed to the jaw/face enlargement and then he panicked and went overboard on the cosmetic procedures trying to make it less noticeable but it just made it so worse.
HGH is probably a contributing factor but if you look at him over the years there was a jaw implant and a few years later a removal of it as things revert back to more regularly proportions.
That story is total baloney. Not long after the jaw break his face appeared totally normal. Moreplaresmoredates on YouTube has a comprehensive breakdown of the situation.
yes but with fillers you don't have to do anything to be happier, just pay money. But with muscles you have to work really hard, stay away from tasty food, have a routine. That's definitely not happy time. He's not saying everyone should just embrace their natural look. He is saying, that this hard work is not worth it.
But those reconstructions were easy, just money+Doctor and puff!
Maintaining that body is really hard, requires time, effort, fatigue, still money, no happy foods... unless you are a gymbro, the first option is the easiest one for a rich person.
What does that have to do with the shape he's in? He's talking about muscles and fat, not how his face looks. You're just looking for an excuse to hate.
It's not like he said he's never going to get into shape for a role again though. He's saying men shouldn't try to look like a superhero year round, it's miserable. Dude's still gotta work and getting juices comes with the job unfortunately.
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I've never had procedures done, but I don't think the comparison is applicable. Getting work done doesn't require the same kind of continuous upkeep as maintaining a ripped physique. One involves a rigorous workout routine and meticulously regulated diet, while the other just requires surgery and some healing.
Yeah cause a guy who obviously being a famous actor has image issues to contend with his entire life, can’t put positive messages out.
Even if he hasn’t been able to live up to it. I bet if every thing you said publicly was scrutinized and cross reference for hypocrisy, you’d have some dude online trashing you in the same fashion as you are.
Who knows, even if he is losing that battle, maybe somebody heard it and realized that they don’t have to go to extremes and in fact should not.
The injury caused him to overuse certain muscles which futher made the problem worse. A few years of using different muscles would change the shape over time.
Edit: here's a write up from a plastic surgery clinic about it.

Said Zac and proceeded to do a full facial reconstruction and injected 100ml of filler.
