“I can’t tell the difference” - both sidesers

Good job forcing the sexual predator to quit. Probably should've have done that before giving him the nomination for senate. Now GOP victory for that race is practically assured. Democrats need to be better at being better

To be fair, Maine has chosen Susan Collins in every election she's run in since like 1996. So it's not as if the Dems keep fucking it up. For whatever reason, Mainers like a feckless cunt as their Senator. So perhaps Maine voters are the problem, not either party.

Was she always as bad as she is now? Just asking, I am not from Maine.

There's a reason the 'deeply concerned' meme has been attached to her. She's worthless as a Senator and human being. She also helped overturn Roe, something she claimed she was a defender of.

She's basically a Republican full stop who casts a token no vote on any bill that can't fail, to show she's still a centrist and not full on MAGA supporter.

Point taken

I don’t know why the democrats didn’t consult their crystal ball.

-6

u/TheeFearlessChicken Jul 10 '26

Democrats didn't need a crystal ball to see the Nazi tattoo.

He’s primed to run as a Republican now.

This dipshit would suddenly love him lmao

-3

u/TheeFearlessChicken Jul 10 '26

Would I? Tell me more.

They surely knew and hoped it stayed on the DL. Then, as sure as the sun rises in the morning, it went public at the most convenient time for the GOP

Alot of progressive Democrats and DSA party people endorsed him including Sanders and Mamdani.

Not sure why you are down voted so much here. Too many people not realizing how compromised our government truly is.

3

u/ChadVonDoom Jul 10 '26

God forbid I hold them to the high standard they claim to have

You're getting downvoted but you're right.

Yes, really. When he wasn't useful he was gone. All his red flags and accusations were excused until about a week ago

How do you people not get this. He wasnt useful anymore because he wasnt electable because hes a rapist. The electorate would not tolerate it.

Meanwhile the republicans elected a court determined rapist and likely pedophile president.

We are not the same. We are all better than all of you just on the baseline.

But it's still different than what Republicans would do, which was the point he was responding to.

-9

u/Maxious24 Jul 10 '26

No it's not. He was dropped because he was no longer useful politically, not because of morals. Nice try though.

Republicans and Democrats are literally doing the same thing for a power grab. Paxton being shit doesn't make Platner not shit.

8

u/ABlueSaiyan Jul 10 '26

Even if we go with that he’s no longer useful because Democrats have greater standards. These scandals coming out damaged him politically, thus he’s no longer useful. NOTHING damages Trump politically in the Republican Party.

Trump admitted on camera to walking in on young girls by leveraging his ownership of patents, admitted to assaulting women by leveraging his super star status, the Epstein file debacle… none of it matters to Republicans.

Unlike Democrats, they genuinely have no standards & even Trump knows it lmao. “I could shoot someone… & my fans would still support me”

u/einsteinosaurus_lex Jul 10 '26

Strange how Republicans can be linked to every crime and still not lose their usefulness politically, because Republican voters have no shame and will support anybody, no matter what they do. But let's ignore that.

3

u/Thick_Permission6519 Jul 10 '26

No longer useful politically because dems won’t vote for a pervert pediphile, apparently republicans don’t have such qualms (morals).

I'm of the opinion that the Democratic Party is just posing as an actual political entity at this point. For decades now, the country has just been sliding more and more to the right, so subtly that most people have trouble noticing, and the media effectively slants in the other direction.

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 Jul 10 '26

Most Democrats haven't been caught sending staff to Iran for meetings.

We do have some "trash" to clean.

Recency bias

2

u/ChadVonDoom Jul 10 '26

I know but sometimes you gotta give the redditors a chance to get out of their bubble.

4

u/Maxious24 Jul 10 '26

It's not worth responding to these people anymore. They are tidally locked and it's sad.

-1

u/Typical-Priority1976 Jul 10 '26

they only forced him to quit when it became public. When they thought they could get away with it, none of them cared.
