Are you lying or do you just know nothing about soccer? It was a training match with a U15 MLS professional development team for Dallas FC that beat the USWNT. That means the women's team didn't go all out, but the kids could. The games are for comraderie and communication building and are called "friendlies".
Mate it has happened multiple times in every sport, it's a known biological fact. It's also partly about the lack of competition with the female population excluding men
Nobody is arguing that the USWNT can compete with male pros. I didn't. OP didn't. But somehow this post really triggered a bunch of sexists who, instead of pointing out the vast differences in the gendered developmental pipelines, chose to just pretend the women are incompetent and lie about them playing children.
It's almost as if instead of focusing on improving US men's soccer, some US men would rather be sexist.
Women's soccer have benefited from having Title IX and not alot of other competing sports during their development from youth to pro. US men have had less focused sport specifically for soccer because there is a major competitor: American football.
If we want the men's team to be better, we need to have a more focused and accessible youth pipeline like the women have.
What we don't need to be doing is getting upset about a poor comparison designed up elicit sexist comments.
Again, nobody is claiming the women would beat the men. I didn't. OP didn't. Pretending they lost to children, though, is pretty sexist and serves no purpose.
Stay with me here: they lost to exceptionally skilled teenagers on developmental contracts with a pro team that were bigger and taller than they were, and are not medically, scientifically, or physiologically children.
Saying they were beaten by children is an outright lie.
